What this tool does

Create a placeholder picture at specified dimensions for layout testing without borrowing a real photograph.

How to use it

  1. Set width (pixels) (initial value: 800).
  2. Set height (pixels) (initial value: 600).
  3. Set text (initial value: Sample).
  4. Set background color (initial value: #ffffff).
  5. Set text color (initial value: #333333).
  6. Set font size (initial value: 48).
  7. Set output format to one of: png, jpeg, webp.
  8. Set jpeg / webp quality (0.1–1) (initial value: 0.8).
  9. Choose Process, inspect the result, then use the download control. A reported error means no successful output was produced.
